Accounting, filings and audit: prices by jurisdiction
Starting prices excluding tax, government fees included.
What the service covers
- Bookkeeping and financial statements under the local framework.
- Tax and VAT filings at local deadlines.
- Statutory audit where the jurisdiction or threshold requires it.
- Coordination with your original accountant, if you keep one.
In practice
Accounting duties depend on the company's form, activity and size, not on its tax rate. In most jurisdictions the company keeps books, draws up annual financial statements and retains them for a legal period; some require them to be filed with the registry, others an audit above certain thresholds. VAT or sales tax follows its own registration and filing-frequency rules. A bank may also ask for the last year's accounts to keep the relationship going.
What we tell you before we start
In the UAE, accounting became mandatory with corporate tax. A company that keeps none is exposed to penalties, even at a nil rate.
