What we do, and what we refuse to do.
This page exists because half the enquiries we receive are for things we will not do. Better said before the call.
Our scope
- Choosing and forming companies in low-tax jurisdictions, declared and registered.
- Genuine transfer of tax residence, documented, with a timetable for severing the original link.
- Activity licences from the competent authorities, filed in your name.
- Registered office and premises meeting the jurisdiction's substance requirements.
- Preparing the banking file and presenting it to regulated institutions.
- Coordination with your current lawyer or accountant, or with one of our correspondents.
Out of scope, without exception
- Concealment of assets, circumvention of automatic exchange of information or of a tax procedure under way.
- Nominee shareholders or figurehead directors intended to mask the beneficial owner.
- Sham substance: an address without activity where the law requires genuine presence.
- A structure designed to escape a seizure, a divorce, a creditor or a court decision.
- A file whose source of funds we cannot verify. Our procedure applies to everyone.
- A promise of a tax rate that would not survive an audit. We would rather lose the sale.
Our client due diligence
It applies to every file, without exception, and before any incorporation. We verify the identity of each beneficial owner, the source of the funds committed, the consistency between the declared activity and the flows announced, and the absence of proceedings in your country of origin. We retain these elements in line with our obligations and update them at each renewal.
We reserve the right to decline an engagement or to end one, and a refusal is notified in writing. A declined file does not stop us pointing you towards the lawful route that would meet your actual need, where one exists.
What we are not
We are not lawyers, chartered accountants, investment advisers or tax representatives. We cannot represent you in a tax procedure or issue a binding legal opinion. Every structuring recommendation is validated by a licensed adviser in the jurisdiction concerned before commitment, and we work with tax lawyers in our clients' principal countries of origin.
Twenty minutes to frame your project, and start it now.
Free, with no conditions. We tell you at the end what we would do in your place — including building nothing at all, or staying where you are. The answer is often no, and we would rather say so before billing anything.
- Which jurisdiction holds for your case — and which would not.
- What it truly costs in year one, and the year after.
- What can make it fail, and at which point it happens.
